Tensiometry

Tensiometry is an important discipline when it comes to interfaces and their behavior. Wherever surfaces have to be glued, wetted or coated, sizes such as the contact angle or the surface energy play a decisive role.

Tensiometry is a central measurement technique for the investigation of interfacial phenomena, as well as for the elucidation of problems which originate in different wetting behavior of substances, especially for routine quality testing in the field of surface treatment (bonding, coating, moistening).

Possibilities of PhysChem Analytics GmbH

Detection of the surface tension by means of plate (static), bubble pressure tensiometer (dynamic) or dropshape analyzer
Determination of contact angles and surface energies on different substrates
Determination of the polar and dispersed fraction of liquids and solids.
